Do you have a vision that could change West Memphis? On Thursday, February 12, June 4, Aug. 20, and Nov. 12 join the Broadway & Missouri Streets Merchants' Association and the City of West Memphis at the Civic Center for a high-energy evening of innovation and entrepreneurship. Whether you are launching a brand-new startup or looking to expand an established business with a new product, we want to hear from you. This event is designed to connect dreamers with the resources they need to succeed.
Selected finalists will have exactly 5 minutes to pitch their concept to a panel of judges and a live audience. The winner will walk away with a $1,000 cash award to help bring their project to life. ABOUT

● Pitch Competition nights are intended to build and promote an entrepreneurial ecosystem in West Memphis where dreamers, mentors, and investors can connect, share expertise, and catalyze economic growth and innovation.
QUALIFYING PROJECTS MUST BE…
● A small business idea; or
● A project beneficial to the community; and
● Located in West Memphis.
TO APPLY, TURN IN…
● Completed Pitch Competition Screening Application and any other supporting documents or material to rwhiteside@westmemphisar.gov or in person at 231 E. Broadway in West Memphis. Applicants will be screened.
● Applications due 7 days before Pitch Competition nights.
HOW IT WORKS
● Applicants will be narrowed down to 3-4 contestants for each Pitch Competition Night by the BAM West Memphis Board of Directors.
● Each contestant will get 5 minutes to promote/sell his or her idea to the panel of judges and audience. Be ready for Q&A.
● Contestants may use a slideshow or handouts.
● A panel of 5-7 judges, not the BAM West Memphis Board of Directors, will select the winner.
● Applicants may apply as many times as they wish.
